I’m a fifty-something former hippie living in the historical district of McKinney, TX . My circa 1890 farmhouse is in the midst of major renovations, so I can’t always find things when I want them.
Sometimes I’m a photographer…
or an artist.
or a writer.
or a historian.
I really don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. If I had unlimited time I’d probably work on my house, experiment with making art and web pages, and wander around North Texas photographing and transcribing cemeteries. Instead I spend several hours a day commuting to my job in Dallas, and do a bit of art when I can. I also love to read - mostly history or biographies, with a smattering of fiction.
Lately I’ve been trying to maintain a few web sites - a digital collection of period ephemera. You can see a few of my efforts in the “ongoing projects” section in the sidebar.

I am also a photographer and artist, and don’t know what I want to be when I grow up… I’m in the states at the moment… say Hi to your Mom… I’d love to see you guys again one of these days… but it won’t work out this time. I’ve also done’ a lot on the family tree… I have lots of pic. to share.
