I’m a fifty-something former hippie living in the historical district of McKinney, TX . My circa 1890 farmhouse is in the midst of major renovations, so I can’t always find things when I want them.
Sometimes I’m a photographer…
or an artist.
or a writer.
or a historian.
I really don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. If I had unlimited spare time I’d probably work on my house, experiment with making art and web pages, and wander around North Texas photographing and transcribing cemeteries. I would definitely not be wasting gas commuting the 35 miles to my job in Dallas.
If someone would pay me well to pursue my projects it would be a wonderful thing, but I don’t do these things for money; I do them because I like to do them.
Lately I’ve been trying to maintain a few historical sites - mostly a collection of ephemera. You can see a few of my efforts in the “ongoing projects” section in the sidebar.
