fifi’s graffiti and graveyards

This little box held some electronic purchase, I think. I liked the way the two top pieces framed the whole thing, so I started layering each piece with a different kind of paper. The bottom layer is watercolor-stained rice paper, the middle is scraps from a dress pattern, and the top is plain newspaper. The thin cardboard can’t take much water, so it’s been slow going laying down newsprint with white glue. Just a few pieces every day. Now there’s a bit of a water-resistant layer I’m using acrylic gel.
