Rug Collage
I spent much of the weekend sorting through several boxes of clipped art, and harvesting pages from my stack of magazines. I sat on the floor and distributed the clippings to special piles. Along the way I composed two and a half collages. This is actually the haphazard way I come up with most of my collages. I sift through parts, and some things just seem to want to belong to another image. Before I know it, I’ve got color overload. My back is still protesting from this exercise, but the floor is the only place large enough for me to spread everything out. And I’m still not finished!
However, cooler weather calls this morning. I must take Phoebe out for a walk.
