This Mother’s Day, think diffferent.

When did Mother’s Day become a time to immerse your mom in material burdens like jewelry, new cars, or Manolo pumps?

Someone just turned me on to this beautiful short film. You don’t have to be a mom for it to rend your heart.

Please watch Mother’s Day for Peace.

My favorite comment about this film came from someone named Sonia:

It is abusive to send our children and the children of others to shoot, slice and dice each other as a way to solve conflict, or more often, to commit some form of international armed robbery. Ask your children to do something for peace or children rather than give us gifts on Mothers’ Day.
