pumpkins are for the birds
….anyway, I thought it was a birdhouse, but it’s not; it’s just a planter. Still, it looked pretty with its mini-pumpkins.
I finally got out for a brisk ten-minute walk this morning. My “health counselor”, a nurse attached to some company in Arizona which has contracted with my employer to call people to assist them with diet and such, has recommended I begin changing my sedentary lifestyle by walking twice a week for ten minutes each time. This is so I don’t get overwhelmed and quite exercising altogether. The first two weeks I only walked twice as “real” exercise. The other walking was just slow puttering around. I hate exercise and find many excuses to NOT do it. I have to admit that I feel better for it and I spotted a few photo ops as well. When I got back from my walk (I took Phoebe with me) I picked up my camera and went out again for thirty more minutes. No briskness the second time, though!
